St. Hubert's Convent's chicken brooder house - circa pre-1930's
Description: St. Hubert's Convent's chicken brooder house - circa pre-1930's
In the 1930's the nuns no longer had chickens; this building was moved off church property to the Roland Rogers (later Bert & Elizabeth (Davidson) Rogers) farm on Pioneer Trail where Eden Apple Orchard was located until the late 1990's. In the 1960's the building was moved to Elizabeth Davidson's cabin property near Hackensack. The family calls it a "shanty". It was a Sears manufactured building.
